Police Make Arrest In Death Of 1-Year-Old Bronx Baby
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police announced the arrest of a man Friday night in connection with the death of a 1-year-old Bronx boy.
On Wednesday, police said they found the child, Richard Flood, unconscious and unresponsive inside 667 E. 232nd St. in Williamsbridge. The baby was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Neighbors said that they had often heard fighting inside the apartment. Friday night officials said they had arrested the boyfriend of the child's mother.
Reginald Smith, 24, now faces charges of murder and assault after the Medical Examiner determined the cause of death to be homicide.
