Staten Island's Tom Brady Picks Giants To Win Super Bowl

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- In the heart of Big Blue country, even Tom Brady is picking the Giants.

Okay, so maybe it's not the Tom Brady, but a Staten Island man bearing the same name as the Super Bowl-winning QB is picking New York to win it all.

"I'm Tom Brady, I'm from Staten Island and I predict Giants will prevail," Brady told 1010 WINS.

The Grymes Hill resident says he once tried out for the high school football team at Monsignor Farrell High School and was told "unless you want to be the water boy, forget about it."

"I am a patriot, but I'm not from New England," he said chuckling.

The real Tom Brady -- the Patriots QB -- has a much different prediction as to who will raise the Vince Lombardi Trophy on Sunday.

Last Sunday, Brady was quite confident when addressing Pats fans at a Gillette Stadium send-off rally.

"We wish we could take all of you guys to Indy with us," Brady said. "Hopefully we'll have a lot more people at our party next weekend."

Brady was later asked about his "party" comment and replied "It was a pep rally...People were pretty excited."
