It was indeed a Football Friday on the FAN, but Boomer and Craig got their full slate of guests started with a visit from former Major League pitcher Curt Schilling.

Right off the bat, Schilling gets a chance to talk about the new video game that he is promoting entitled “Reckoning.” Schilling talks about how he has been a big-time gamer for most of his life, and how much of a thrill it was to be involved with this kind of project.

Curt also spends some time talking about the 10 days he spent in Iraq during the peak of the war in 2008. His stories are equally incredible and scary to think about.

After that Schilling gives his take on the upcoming Super Bowl, and makes sure to share his opinions on what it’s like having to deal with the media in such sports-crazed cities as New York and Boston. As you might remember, he was never exactly the press’ favorite player while he was pitching for the Red Sox. However he did love playing for some of the most demanding fans in sports.

Also, was Schilling ever courted by the Yankees? Who’s better right now, Brady or Eli? Curt answers these questions and many more right here…
