Police Arrest 4 Suspects In Brooklyn Sex Assault, Burglary

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 13-year-old boy is among four suspects taken into custody by the NYPD for an alleged sexual assault and burglary in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn.

Police responding to an 911 call on Monday, January 30 around 2:36 p.m. were met by the two victims.

The victims, a 24-year-old Hispanic man and a 22-year-old white woman, said they were tied up by four Black males who entered the Brownsville apartment through an unlocked front door at 12:45 p.m. the same day.

They said the suspects, armed and wearing ski masks, sexually assaulted the bound female victim and left the apartment an hour later with three laptop computers, cash, jewelry, a cell phone and credit/debit cards.

The victims were discovered by a roommate who returned home and called 911.

Police identified three of the suspects as 17-year-old Derrin Dyson of 1563 Pacific Street, 17-year-old Christopher Scott of 152 Madison Street, 18-year-old Dezhaun Samuels of 921 Saint Marks Avenue. The fourth suspect was not identified, being only 13-years-old.

The charges include burglary, robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, grand larceny, forcible touching, sex abuse, menacing, and criminal possession of stolen property.
