NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The Super Bowl commercials are as big as the game itself, but did they manage to score last night?

From funny to sexy, advertisers both pushed the envelope and relied on tried and true crowd pleasers.

The much-anticipated Ferris Bueller sequel ad starring Matthew Broderick for the Honda CR-V went viral before the big game, but still managed to make a splash.

did not watch one single commercial during the super bowl, They are stupid and insulting, not to mention a waste of money. I will not give these companies the satisfaction. Also did not watch the halftime show. If the NFL wants to insult the viewers of the game and let this fugly waste of skin do the halftime show, then nobody should have watched it at all. It was a total slap in the face to anyone who has any sense or any taste. This witch doesn’t even live in the US because she thinks if she lives in Europe, her kids will not find out about everything she did, and about what a filthy wh*re she is. She also thinks that if she talks with a British accent she will appear intelligent and that she will appear to have class. Wrong on both counts. She is dumb as a box of rocks, and has as much talent as a box of rocks. It is time for her to dry up and blow away and time for this country and the media to just ignore her.

Hands down, the best was the Chrysler commercial with Clint Eastwood…..gave me goosebumps.
