Giants Fans Can Celebrate Super Bowl Win With Victory License Plate

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Want to show off your pride on your ride?

Following the New York Giants' Super Bowl XLVI victory, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday the state has released a special license plate to honor the championship team.

The plate features the Giants and Super Bowl XLVI logos, as well as the words "Super Bowl XLVI Champions."

"I join all New York Giant fans in congratulating the team and staff, especially native-New Yorker coach Tom Coughlin, on this great Super Bowl victory," Cuomo said. "We are all very proud of the dedication, hard work and grace under pressure that enabled the Giants to bring the Vince Lombardi Trophy back to New York."

The plates are available for both passenger and commercial vehicles.

The plates can be ordered in any Department of Motor Vehicles office, online, or by calling the Custom Plates Office at (518) 402-4838.
