The Long Island native shocked some with her aged appearance when she attended the amfAR New York Gala to kick off Fall 2012 Fashion Week at Cipriani Wall Street Wednesday night.

It’s no secret that the “Mean Girls” star has made more headlines recently for her trouble with the law than for any acting accolades.

What is puzzling, however, is the motivation behind the look, which makes the star look quite older than her actual age of 25.

Proceeds from the event, hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker, benefited AIDS research.
