Actor Danny Glover Stops By 1010 WINS To Talk Energy, 25th Anniversary Of ‘Lethal Weapon’

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Has it been 25 years already?

Actor, producer and humanitarian Danny Glover was in Manhattan on Friday, during Black History Month, as part of a major initiative to provide affordable energy to New York City residents.

Glover will be leading an affordable energy community forum at the Family Life Center located at 172nd & Linden Blvd. in Queens.

He was also in town to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the film Lethal Weapon — a film he said changed his life.

While in The Big Apple, he also found some time to stop by 1010 WINS and chat with anchor Brian Carey.

      Personally I don’t know Danny Glover or his politics. I think he’s a good actor and I enjoy his movies. I believe that any actor or actress who has the benefit of a public forum should recuse themselves from ANY conversations or events about politics and refrain from any discussions about race or religion . And I further believe that ANYONE who accuses another person of anything SHOULD SIGN HIS OR HER NAME TO THAT STATEMENT.
