B&C Morning Show: Jeremy Lin & The Knicks In 7th Heaven - Can You Say MVP?
The Knicks issued a good ole fashion butt-whooppin' to the Sacramento Kings last night at the Garden to the tune of a 100-85 victory. Once again Jeremy Lin was the catalyst, handing out a career-high 13 assists and was one of seven Knicks to score in double figures with his 10 points.
Craig believes what we saw last night is a sign of things to come, specifically when Carmelo Anthony makes his highly anticipated return in the next couple of days. To Boomer's delight Craig went on to say that between the Knicks and the Booms' Rangers, the Big Apple is in for great times ahead.
Boomer mentioned Lin's fearlessness and marveled that just one man is primarily responsible for the Knicks mind-boggling turnaround. With the win - their 7th in-a-row - the Knickerbockers improved to 15-15.
Lin's enormous success, combined with the Knicks winning ways as of late (assuming they continue) has Craig touting the Knicks starting point guard as the MVP of the entire league!!! As for Boomer, he is a big Lin supporter and is definitely buying into the 'Linsanity' but believes his radio partner was be getting a little bit ahead of himself and he told him so - calling him a bandwagon jumper.
