B&C Morning Show: The 'Lindarella' Story Continues & Carmelo Can't Wait To Be Part Of It

The New York Knicks extended their winning-streak to seven last night, after their 100-85 win over the Sacramento Kings and it was there that Jerry Recco - who once again was sporting a free t-shirt courtesy of our friends at 'the7line.com'  -began his first update of the morning.  We heard from Jeremy Lin after his 10 point, 13 assist performance as he was serenaded by chants of MVP.

As for Mike D'Antoni, he is thrilled with the increase in Lin's assist production and the point guard's court vision.  Amar'e Stoudemire & Landry Fields have both benefited from Lin's aforementioned court-vision and they couldn't help but take notice of the charged atmosphere these days at the Garden.  Craig also offered a bit of advice to Lin, telling him to just be himself.

The win got the Knicks back to the .500 mark with a record of 15-15 and the New Orleans Hornets up next this Friday at MSG.  The Knicks hope to have Carmelo Anthony back in the line-up by then and the 'Melo-Man' joined Mike Francesa yesterday and admitted to being a bit bothered by the naysayers who are questioning whether or not he an Lin can co-exist.

Plus, the Nets were beaten by the Grizzles 105-100 but that didn't stop Avery Johnson from putting on a positive spin, as for Nets point guard Deron Williams, he apparently care much for all of the 'Linsanity'.  Nets are in Indiana tonight, the Rangers are home for the Blackhawks and the Islanders will skate in the St. Louis...
