Son Evicting 98-Year-Old Mother From Connecticut Home

FAIRFIELD, CT (CBSNewYork) – Living out her life in her own home in Fairfield, it’s unlikely Mary Kantorowski ever dreamed that at age 98, her own son would be trying to evict her.

WCBS 880 Connecticut Bureau Chief Fran Schneidau On The Story

She’s lived there since 1953.

However, Peter Kantorowski has maneuvered change of ownership of the house to his name, says Richard Bortolot, the attorney representing Mrs. Kantorwski.

“He wants her out the house so he can sell it, and… they executed the eviction lawsuit against her on December 13th of 2011, which happened to be her 98th birthday,” Bortolot told Connecticut Bureau Chief Fran Schneidau.

Bortelot says Mrs. Kantorowski is now preparing to wage a legal fight to keep her home.

He says a judge has ruled Mrs. Kantorowski competent to handle her own affairs and a trial has been set for March 2 in Bridgeport.

And Jacob became the Patriarch of Israel for stealing Esau’s birthright. According to the Book of Leviticus everything will go back to Israel during the 50th year Jubilee. Liberty throughout the land. Peter will have to wait another 50 years.

My mother lived in Simsbury, Ct. and my brother maneuvered ownershiip of the house to him. It was in my other brothers name to begin with so it had nothing to do with Title 19. She left everything to the four of us, but little David got it all…house, money, possessions. Get a conniving lawyer named George and legally , attys. can do anything….EXCEPT obey the wishes of the loved one that has passed. Basically, wills are a waste of paper.

The son must be in his 70s do the math. This is an old on old crime lol.

    • and that means what?

that it’s less of a crime.

  • No More Political Correctness

This is why it is so important to talk to your kids about your end of life when you are HEALTHY, and can shield assets from the taxman..

This is too disgusting for words. But for sure they has got to be a conniving notary in the background. Mehopes they both get a stiff term in the can, that she get her home back, and eventually leaves it to any body else but him. smokersodysseycom

i would find out how he got the house in his name….probably had her sign something that she did not know what he was signing. where does he expect her to go….a shelter….a nursing home….just so he can reep some money. he will get his when he is old if he ever sees oldage. shame on this poor excuse for a son.

There is a story of a man who wanted to rid himself of his aged mother so he devised a plan to put her in a basket and float her down the river to some unknown destination. He went to the store accompanied by his very young son who knew his intention and requested the father to buy two baskets. The dad asked why 2 baskets? The young boy replied “Dad when you become old and aged like grandma I can use this basket to put you into the river and float you away to some unknown destination like you wish to do with grandma”
This story is a message to anyone who is cruel to their parents that their day will also come

May the hand of God strike him.

“Peter Kantorowski has maneuvered change of ownership of the house to his name”

“He says a judge has ruled Mrs. Kantorowski competent to handle her own affairs ”

So how did that happen? I hope she gets the house back and leaves it to the NAACP!

    • ?

What does the NAACP have to do with this matter?

  • Esmerelda

I heard about things like this when I was younger. What a disgrace! I hope the judge turns the tables on him and throw him out.
