With ‘LINsanity’ still running-wild, the signing of JR Smith, Carmelo Anthony’s return, Baron Davis’ debut and a Knicks loss to the Nets, today was a perfect day for Boomer & Craig to chat with Bernard King, so Al Dukes went ahead and booked the former Knick great.

King offered his take on the Knicks latest setback, as well as his perception of all of the ‘LINsanity’.  Even with the return of Carmelo & Amar’e Stoudemire and the addition of JR Smith, King said that Lin is still the unquestioned leader of this team.  With that said, he believes there will be an adjustment period with all of the new pieces and as the league watches more film on Lin.

King shared that he is a fan of D’Antoni’s system and downplayed the condensed schedule leading to a lesser product on the court.

Craig was sure to let King know how disappointed he was that on a recent trip to New York, he failed to reach out to him & Boomer and share the pictures of his inspirational ducks, Aldo & Florence – who brought great laughter to the Allstate Studio the last time King called in
