Knicks' Jeremy Lin Makes Cover Of Sports Illustrated — Again!

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- "Jeremy's World" indeed.

For the second straight week, Jeremy Lin has made the cover of Sports Illustrated.

The Knicks' sofa-to-starter star is the first ever New York athlete to have the honor twice in a row, according to the New York Daily News.

The Feb. 27 issue, featuring Lin mid-fist pump, will hit newsstands Wednesday.

"To live it and to be a part of it and for it to become real is definitely beyond my wildest dreams," Lin told WFAN's Boomer & Carton last week.

Knicks fans hope the SI jinx, a superstition much-feared for ruining streaks, doesn't claim "Linsanity."

Just ask former Giants wide receiver David Tyree, who never played another snap for New York after his Aug. 4 issue was released in 2008.

But then there's Dallas Mavericks star and NBA Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki, the last athlete to grace two straight covers. He's still going strong.

The honor didn't hurt Super Bowl champion Hakeem Nicks last month, either.

Lin has led the Knicks to eight wins in ten games since emerging from nowhere on Feb. 4.
