Pharmacy Robbed In Brentwood; No Drugs Taken

BRENTWOOD, NY (CBSNewYork) - The owner of the HealthMart pharmacy in Brentwood says over $15,000 in cash was stolen.

Police said an armed robber came into the business around 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

The owner told WCBS 880 reporter Sophia Hall that four employees were in the store at the time.

No one was injured and the owner said no drugs were taken.

Authorities said they are still investigating.

This pharmacy is in a shopping plaza, and three doors down, the owner of the bakery said he was also recently robbed of cash.
