Keefe To The City: Knicks-Celtics Chat With Ryan Hadfield

By Neil Keefe
» More from Neil

The Knicks and Celtics meet for the third time this season on Sunday in Boston, and once again the status for each team has changed again.

When the team's met on Christmas Day to kick off the season, the Knicks were viewed as a contender in the East with their own Big Three while no one knew what to expect from the Celtics' aging Big Three. Then when they met again on Feb. 3, the Knicks lost for the 11th time in 13 games and it was the last game before Jeremy Lin took over while the Celtics were finally getting hot and in the middle of a five-game winning streak. Now the Knicks are the team on the rise and the Celtics are the team fading.

Ryan Hadfield of WEEI.com in Boston joined me to talk about where the Knicks and Celtics are at this point and the season, how Jeremy Lin's taken over the basketball world and the state of sports journalism in both cities.
