Authorities In Pennsylvania Release Images Of Two Men Using Murdered Brooklyn Man’s Credit Cards
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Somebody shot Joshua Rubin dead and set his body on fire.
Rubin, 30, was from Brooklyn. He was last seen walking out of his door on October 31, 2011. He was spotted five blocks away from the Whisk Cafe he opened in Ditmas Park.
Rubin may have had some money trouble. Notices on the now-shuttered Whisk Cafe indicated the rent hadn’t been paid since August.
Now authorities in Pennsylvania have a new clue in their investigation.
They’ve released two security camera images of two men spotted using Rubin’s credit cards. The pictures were taken at Woodbury Common just hours after Rubin’s body was found along a rural road in Pennsylvania.
Woodbury Common is an outlet mall in Orange County, N.Y. Authorities say the duo seen above racked up purchases at the stores there.
