B&C Morning Show: Al’s Irish Hello & Craig Tells Us Where Manning Will Wind-Up
Jerry Recco’s first update of the morning was an eventful one. Before he could even get started, Al Dukes pretended to pick-up a member of the opposite sex across the pond, while Craig gave a detailed account of what happens when one eats bad meat.
After that Jerry did his thing, beginning with some audio of Colts owner Jim Irsay and an emotional Peyton Manning from yesterday’s press-conference, that made Manning’s split from the Colts official. Now the question becomes where does Peyton land next??? Craig ended the suspense by telling us all that Peyton Manning will wind-up in Kansas City, calling signals for the Chiefs. Write it down folks – or just commit it to memory.
Speaking of memories – after their third straight loss (118-105 to the Spurs), the Knicks have dropped to 18-21 and the magical carpet ride seems to have come to a halt. Jeremy Lin scored 20 in the loss, but yielded 32 to his counterpart Tony Parker. Afterwards. the Harvard grad talked bout angles.
The Nets got a last second ’3′ from Jordan Farmar to beat the Clippers 101-100 at the Rock and with the win are 5-5 in their last 10 games. A college basketball scoreboard was highlighted by WFAN’s own Ray Martel, who moonlights as the play-by-play voice of the LIU Blackbirds. LIU got past Robert Morris to advance to the ‘big dance’ and Ray’s PBP skills caught the attention of Craig – as he predicted that he will soon surpass Jerry – who is the voice of the Columbia Lions (Roar!!!) – in the PBP game…
