Two former Giants teammates, Jeremy Shockey and Amani Toomer, had a pretty feisty exchange on Twitter yesterday.
It started with the reports in the media that the free agent Shockey had expressed a desire to return to Big Blue next season. Shockey’s first tweet was directed at those media members while insisting that notion never came out of his mouth.
Shockey then fired his first salvo at Toomer, who was pretty outspoken regarding his time as Shockey’s teammate. Toomer has said publicly that Shockey was a “bad teammate” and a “worse person.” Shockey responded at first by cracking wise about the play in which Toomer was knocked into Shockey’s leg, causing a broken bone. Then he took it to the next step by tweeting unfounded rumors about Toomer’s actions following an ugly divorce from his ex-wife.
Michael Strahan decided to inject himself into this feud for some reason also. Boomer and Craig give their take on all of this…
