Tony Bennett, Granddaughter Donate One-Of-A-Kind Book To NYC Charity Auction

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Tony Bennett and his granddaughter are involved with a New York City event raising money for impoverished South African children.

The Lunchbox Bookfair, a star-studded charity dinner & art auction, will take place on Wednesday at Chelsea's posh Del Posto restaurant.

Proceeds from the event, hosted by former REM frontman Michael Stipe, will benefit the Lunchbox Fund, a non-profit organization providing meals to poor and at-risk school children in South Africa.

Books by Deepak Chopra, Chuck Close and Yoko Ono will be auctioned off.

Additionally, Bennett and his granddaughter Kelsey Bennett created an item specifically for the event. It is an accordion-style book, featuring works from a series of photographs Bennett took of her grandfather on tour during the recording of his latest record Duets II.

Featured in the book is a photo with Bennett and Amy Winehouse, who died last year.
