Isles, Evgeni Nabokov Agree To One-Year Contract Extension
NEW YORK (WFAN) - The Islanders have announced that they have come to terms with goaltender Evgeni Nabokov on a one-year contract extension.
According to TSN.ca, the deal is worth $2.75 million.
Nabokov, 36, spent 10 seasons with the San Jose Sharks before joining the Isles for the '11-'12 campaign.
The Kazakhstan-Russian veteran has started 39 games for New York this season, boasting a .912 save percentage and recording two shutouts.
