Boomer & Craig were very happy to welcome the great Charles Barkley to the Program so that they could talk to the ‘Round Mound of Rebound’ about a whole host of topics, beginning with Tim Tebow becoming a Jet.  Although he believes that Big Apple could use a good Christian in the mix, he doesn’t believe that New York is a good fit.

As far as the Knicks, Barkely said the reason why they are playing so well for Mike Woodson, is because they’re well-rested after quitting on Mike D’Antoni.  Moving forward Barkley said the Knicks will only go as far as Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire can take them, but right now the Heat and the Bulls are head-&-shoulders above the rest in the Eastern Conference.

Craig did take issue with the fact that Sir Charles was in New York, but didn’t come into the Allstate Studio for a visit, Barkley said it was only because he was not invited – which is clearly Al Dukes’ fault.  He did express interest in getting together with the Dynamic Radio Duo to play some golf and win some money, but Boomer isn’t sure he could tolerate seeing Barkley’s ‘unique’ golf swing (pictured) for an entire round…
