B&C Morning Show: Torn About Tebow

With the Jets pulling off the deal to bring Tim Tebow to New York, Craig finds himself torn.  As a Jets fan he hates the move and says it makes no sense from a football standpoint.  As one-half of the Dynamic Radio Duo that makes-up the 'Morning Extravaganza' Craig couldn't be happier, because of the circus that comes along with 'Tebow-Mania' and what it means for sports talk radio.

Jerry Recco knows the deal and he began his first update of the morning giving us the lowdown on the Tebow to the Jets deal, complete with a the play-by-play call of Tebow burning the Jets back in November, as described by the one and only Ian Eagle and from a thankful Tebow himself.  Some reaction from Tebow's new head coach Rex Ryan, as well as Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum trying to explain how the issue with an advance owed to Tebow temporarily held-up the deal..

We even got to hear from 'Woody'.

Keeping with the NFL, Roger Goodell comes down very hard on Sean Payton and some other prominent figures involved in the Saints bounty program, which was in place from 2009 through 2011.  The 49ers & Alex Smith are prepared to announce a new 3-year deal, the Patriots sign guard Robert Gallery and the running back known as 'The Law Firm' - BenJarvis Green-Ellis will reportedly sign with the Bengals (Who Dey!!!).

Plus, the Knicks' winning-streak continued in Philadelphia with an 82-79 over the 76ers and after a rough shooting night, but a great 4th quarter, Jeremy Lin described the win as 'ugly'.  The Nets know about being on the other end of 'ugly' as they got blown out by the Wizards 108-89, both Avery Johnson and Deron Williams were both ejected in the 3rd quarter.  The Rangers beat the Red Wings 2-1 in overtime, thanks to a game-winner by birthday boy Ryan Callahan - who netted his 27th goal on his 27th birthday and Johan Santana looked pretty good yesterday down in Florida...
