B&C Morning Show: An Update From Chris 'C-Lo' Lopresti
With Jerry Recco taking a well-deserved day-off, Chris Lopresti filled-in admirably providing updates, the first of which came just after 6:30 a.m. and began with Syracuse's 64-63 win over Wisconsin, which lands them in the 'Elite 8'. Craig questioned poor C-Lo's decision to lead with the NCAA's, with the low-hanging fruit that is Tim Tebow and the NY Jets.
C-Lo used to work on the Show, before moving on to become an update anchor, so he was somewhat prepared for the guys to mess with him a bit. He didn't do himself any favors by mumbling 'Elite 8', but these things happen.
After finishing off the NCAA Tournament portion of his update (Louisville 57-Michigan St. 44 / Ohio State 81-Cincinnati 66 / Florida 68-Marqutte 58) Lopresti eventually managed to get to the Tebow story, during which Craig wondered if the Jets write their contract in crayons.
We hear all about televangelist Pat Robinson wishing ill-will upon Peyton Manning & the Denver Broncos, which seems kinda strange. Speaking of strange, congress has decided poke around in the NFL's 'Bounty-Gate' mess - so we'll see how that turns out.
Plus, the Knicks are in Toronto tonight to take on the Raptors, Nets-Hawks in Atlanta, Rangers will also travel north of the border to take on the Maple Leafs, while the Islanders will skate in Tampa Bay...
