With ‘Tebow-Mania’ running wild, the guys opened-up this Friday edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza trying to make sense of the Jets headline grabbing trade and all of the baggage that comes along with it.

As far as ‘making sense’ of it, the guys had little success for obvious reasons, but they did carry on a spirited & entertaining discussion and one conclusion they did come to is that the Jets should not be trusted.

Throughout ‘the process’ Mike Tannenbaum’s reputation has taken a hit, just ask Drew Stanton – who signed with the Jets a week ago and is already asking for a trade after being lied to by the Jets GM.

Bottom line is, the fact that Tebow flew to New York in his own private Jet is a pretty good indication that he is not interested in being a back-up.  Boomer talked about a possible ‘Tebow Divide’ in the Jets locker room , while Craig referred to his beloved ‘Green & White’ as a ‘joke’ and based on the recent string of events that’s pretty tough to argue.  he even came up with a new catch phrase for ‘Gang Green’: Jets Football – Ha-Ha!!!

Craigie was also nursing a mild case of laryngitis, which meant his ‘moviefone voice’ was as good as ever.  So as a service he provided clever voice mail greeting for Booms, Al Dukes & Eddie Scozzare…
