NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — A 31-year-old man in search of a newspaper scaled the New York Times building on Sunday morning.
Police say that they caught the man around the fifth floor after receiving a 911 call alerting them to a man climbing a building on Eighth Ave at 41st Street.
Once the man was on the ground he told police that he had climbed the building in search of a newspaper..
The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital to psychologically evaluated, the man was not injured.
On three occasions in 2008 men tried to climb the building, two made it to the roof while another made it to the 11th floor.
