HARRISON, N.J. (AP) — New York Red Bulls forward Juan Agudelo was to have knee surgery Monday, with a recovery period of up to six weeks.

The 19-year-old forward hurt his left knee while playing for the U.S. under-23 team during Olympic qualifying.

The Red Bulls said Dr. Riley Williams was to operate in New York to repair a torn medial meniscus.
