Revered Vegan Food Truck, Cinnamon Snail, To Return To NYC Streets Monday

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Cinnamon Snail, a much revered vegan food truck from New Jersey, will be returning to the city Monday, with two new dishes to unveil.

Owner and chef Adam Sobel will be serving an ancho chili seitan burger with beer simmered onions and garlic, arugula, piri piri pepper sauce, and horseradish cream on grilled herb focaccia.

The second new dish is a smoked portabello mushroom carpaccio with fried caper berries, caramelized onions, truffled kalamata olive tapenade, and arugula on grilled herb focaccia.

The Cinnamon Snail will be in the Flatiron District on Monday.  They will also be serving FiDi, Midtown, the LES, Williamsburg, and other areas of Manhattan and Brooklyn on a regular basis.

Don't fret, New Jersey. The Cinnamon Snail will continue to serve at weekly events in Jersey City and in Red Bank, too, but with the recent ordinances passed by Hoboken, that is one location they will not be visiting.
