NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Well it was nice while it lasted, huh?
Better not postpone your week-long trip to Mexico, because winter appears to be back in the Tri-State area, at least for another day.
Tuesday morning began with a freeze warning in New Jersey, and after a brisk and exceptionally windy day on Monday, Tuesday afternoon was sunny but again very windy, with a high of 50. Tonight will get a tad chillier — and awfully grayer — with clouds on the horizon and a low of 43 expected.
Wednesday is expected to be cloudy with passing showers, but the temperature could get up to a toasty 65.
