B&C Morning Show: Jerry Recco Updates A Kentucky Win And More

With the Wildcats from Kentucky taking out the Jayhawks from Kansas by a score of 67-59 and winning the 2011-2012 NCAA National Championship last night in New Orleans, Jerry Recco understandably began his update right there.

Prior to the game, 'The Fray' performed the national anthem, a performance which was met with mixed reviews.  After listening to it in it's entirety, Boomer, Craig and Jerry all 'spiked it' - while Al Dukes and 'the' Eddie Scozzare liked the unique rendition.

The Knicks - who lead the Bucks by two games for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference - will play in Indiana tonight and Carmelo Anthony says despite all of the injuries, there is nothing to worry about.  With Jeremy Lin on the shelf, Baron Davis realizes that this is his time to shine.

Mike Woodson is looking at the 'big picture' and knows for the Knicks to be successful, Mike Bibby and Toney Douglas will also have to shine when called upon.

Then we learned that Boomer - who took the day off yesterday - clearly wasn't listening to the show.  If he had been listening, the Blonde Bomber would not have felt the need to share with everyone that he purchased his Knicks playoff tickets prior to learning about the severity of Jeremy Lin's left knee injury....
