NEW YORK (WFAN) -- It was an Amazin' start indeed for the Mets in 2012.
But isn't it always? The Mets, after all, have the best Opening Day record in all of baseball.
So here it is: One down. 161 to go.
The offense, this was supposed to be A-1, top of the heap. The concern was the starting pitching and the bullpen.
Well, Johan Santana, take a bow. Make no mistake, Mr. Santana is back.
And the pen, four innings of zeroes!
So how about that offense?
One run. At least David Wright looked all right.
