Sparrow Builds Nest In Upper East Side Traffic Light
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A sparrow seems to be stopping traffic on the Upper East Side after finding an unusual place to build its nest.
The bird decided to move inside the amber light of a traffic light at 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue.
It's become an instant tourist attraction.
"It's really unusual," one person said.
"Birds are so clever about finding the best place to live," another said.
The city said it will inspect the traffic light and remove anything obstructing the signal.
