Strip Club Shooting Leaves 2 Critical In Trenton

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Two men were hospitalized in critical condition after being shot outside a strip club in New Jersey’s capital city.

Trenton police say the victims, whose names were not disclosed, were among a group of men who had been arguing inside the club early Saturday. A bouncer then ejected the group from the club, but the quarrel continued outside before shots rang out around 2:30 a.m.

One victim was shot twice in the stomach and once in the chest, while the other had a leg wound. The men ran to their car and drove off, but they crashed a short distance away.

Emergency responders quickly realized the pair had been shot and took them to a hospital, where one victim underwent emergency surgery.

Further details on the shooting were not disclosed.
