Former Mets manager and player, Bud Harrelson, joined Boomer & Craig in the Allstate Studio this morning to promote his new book: ‘Turning Two: My Journey To The Top Of World And Back With The New York Mets’ — and talk about his life in baseball.

In addition to telling us why he wrote the book, Harrelson talked about the magical Mets of 1969 and the perks of being a part of that team.  He also mentioned the 1986 Mets, for whom he served as a coach for, as well as the passing of Gary Carter.

He admitted to being embarrassed when the Mets fired him with just five games remaining in the 1991 season, before offering his take on the 2012 version of the Metropolitans….
