B&C Morning Show: Rangers Give New York A Good Feeling

What's up y'all? TGIF! Max here taking over the blog from Bobby for the day.

Boomer and Craig kicked off Friday morning's extravaganza talking about a topic that they haven't opened the show with in quite some time. That's right. It's the New York Rangers! After their big 4-2 win over the Ottawa Senators at the Garden last night, they hold a 1-0 lead in the best of seven series.

If there was any doubt as to how jacked up Rangers fans are this morning, Boomer's voice (or lack thereof) provided a great example. The guys run through some of the details of the game, including a crucial timeout that head coach John Tortorella called while still holding a lead in the game. Boomer explains the coach's reasoning behind it.

They also spend a chunk of time discussing the electric atmosphere at the Garden leading up to the opening faceoff. Overall, Boomer cautions Rangers' fans to temper their excitement. It's just one of the fifteen wins this team has to get to accomplish its ultimate goal. But there's no doubt that the open of the show deservedly belonged to the Broadway Blueshirts this morning. Hop on board!
