14-Year-Old Plainfield Boy Charged In Deadly Stabbing
PLAINFIELD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A 14-year-old Plainfield boy has been arrested and charged in connection with the stabbing death of a man earlier this week, prosecutors said.
The teen was arrested several hours after the stabbing around 7 p.m. Tuesday on Watchung Avenue.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police arrested the suspect after locating the vehicle the teen was riding in, prosecutors said. The suspect's name has not been released because of his age.
The boy is being held at the Union County Juvenile Detention Center.
