NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Emergency Medical Services workers rushed to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Friday afternoon after a shot rang out.
The incident took place at around 3 p.m.
EMS tells CBS 2 that a man who works as a security guard accidentally shot himself in the leg.
The victim is in his 50s.
The injury is not considered life-threatening. The man was taken to New York Hospital.
