'Choice Streets' Food Truck Festival Comes To Intrepid Tuesday Night

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The first big food truck event of the season takes place Tuesday night on the Intrepid.

The event, scheduled to take place rain or shine, kicks off at 7:00 p.m. There will be samples from over 20 New York food truck favorites including Korilla BBQ, Souvlaki GR, Mexicue, Taim Mobile, Red Hook Lobster, Wafels & Dinges and more.

Drinks and entertainment are included, as well.

Tickets appear to be sold out, but CBS New York will be scoping the scene and covering the shindig.

Additionally, the creators of music festivals Bonnaroo and the Outside Lands are planning a free outdoor food/music extravaganza in Prospect Park on May 19 and 20 called The Great GoogaMooga.

Spanning across Prospect Park's Nethermead area, GoogaMooga will host approximately 75 food vendors including the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck, Luke's Lobster and tons of top-notch restaurants.
