NYPD Seeking Pair Wanted For Lewd Act, Taking Upskirt Picture In Separate Subway Incidents

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a man wanted for allegedly engaging in an act of public lewdness on a subway train while another is being sought for allegedly taking an upskirt picture of a straphanger.

In one instance, a man on board a Manhattan-bound L Train masturbated while staring at a 34-year-old woman, police said. The suspect boarded the train at the Montrose Avenue station in Brooklyn and exited at Union Square, according to authorities.

The suspect is described by police as a man in his early to mid 20s, approximately 6-feet and 175 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with navy blue jogging pants and a black baseball cap.

In the second instance, a 24-year-old woman told police a man took a photo beneath her skirt as they were on a southbound 4 Train approaching Union Square.

The suspect is described by police as a man between 30 to 40 years old, approximately 5-5 and 150 pounds with brown eyes, short black hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a black and orange sweatshirt.

In each incident the victims were able to take a picture of the suspects.  Both incidents occurred on the same day around the same time -- one incident at 4:30 p.m. and the other at 4:10 p.m., police said.
