Three North Jersey Commanders Reassigned In Light Of High-Speed Police Escort

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The commander of the troop overseeing Northern New Jersey, Maj. Robert Catullo, has been reassigned after a high-speed police escort scandal, as has his deputy commander, Capt. Michael Cerisano, as well as a regional commander, Capt. Warren Moore.

It’s all in connection with a March 30 race down the Garden State Parkway.

As you can hear from the passengers of one of those cars in the race in the following video, they are excited to see the troopers show up and actually cut them off to get to the front of the line.

All of this is part of one of the more significant shakeups in the history of New Jersey State Police.
