NYPD Seeking Yet Another Suspect Wanted For Lewdness On Subway

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It has happened again.

Yet another man is wanted for public lewdness on the subway. The latest incident happened Thursday morning in Queens, when police said a suspect exposed his private parts to a woman seated across from him.

The incident happened around 11:30 a.m. on a Manhattan-bound R train at Steinway Street station, police said.

The suspect is described as a balding Hispanic man, about 35 years old with fair skin. He was wearing a beige blazer or jacket, light-colored button-down shirt, blue jeans, white Nike sneakers and sunglasses, police said.

He was also carrying a red backpack.

This latest incident of alleged lewdness on the subway came shortly after two other similar acts.

In one, a man on board a Manhattan-bound L Train masturbated while staring at a 34-year-old woman, police said.

Then, a 24-year-old woman told police a man took a photo beneath her skirt as they were on a southbound 4 Train approaching Union Square.

In all three incidents, the victims were able to snap a photo of the alleged perps with their cellphone cameras.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of this latest suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
