NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – I’m starting to think that Lindsay Lohan and DJ to the stars, Samantha Ronson, were meant to be together.

After all, the two have been on-again/off-again since 2007.  The couple dated steadily from 2007-2009, rekindled their romance again in 2011, and now, reportedly, the duo are back on.

According to gossip site X17Online, Lohan and Ronson were seen getting cuddly at New York hot spot Le Baron last week.

One witness told X17, “Lindsay and Sam were whispering and laughing and they left the club holding hands. They didn’t care who saw them, and they definitely seem to be back on. It was just like the old days — they couldn’t get enough of each other!”

Lindsay tends to get arrested less when she’s with Ronson, which suggests that perhaps this may be a good move for post parole lifestyle.  Having said that, Ladies, let’s try to keep the relationship off Twitter this time.

During their first of a string of break-ups, Lohan took to Twitter to school her (ex) girlfriend on proper celebrity breakup protocol, writing,  ”I’m doing this publicly because you and your friends call People magazine… so, you win. You broke my heart. Now go away. I loved you.”

In 2011, an on-again moment, Ronson tweeted about sleeping Lindsay, “watching grey’s anatomy-my fav show-@lindsaylohan sleeping next 2 me- should i wake her up to let her know her mom is going on GMA?”

Third time’s a charm right?  Keep it cuddly – and offline – and you two may be just fine.
