B&C Morning Show: Damn It Feels Good To Be A Sports Fan

The New Jersey Devils beat the Flyers 3-1 on Tuesday night and advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals -- where they will meet the winner of Rangers-Capitals. It was those Devils who took top billing early on this morning when Boomer & Craig opened up this thing we call the Morning Extravaganza.

For those of you who weren't aware that there was a professional hockey team in Jersey, or like most, just don't care about hockey, not to worry.  Craig decided the Mets deserved a round of applause as they kept their winning ways going last night against the Phillies with a 7-4 win.  Boomer & Craig agreed this scrappy Mets team is fun to watch and appear to be prepared to hang around for a while.

Not to be left out, the Yankees got a much-needed win against the Tampa Bay Rays and David Robertson got his first save since being named Mariano Rivera's replacement as the Bombers' closer.  As for Andy Pettitte, he is scheduled to make his return to Yankee Stadium this Sunday when the Mariners come to town.

And oh yeah, both the Knicks and Rangers have playoff games tonight.  The Knicks will be looking to stay alive in Miami, while the Blueshirts look to close out the Caps in Washington.

Rounding out the open, Boomer informed his radio partner that he looks dirty after catching an episode of Boomer & Carton in 60 on MSG last night...
