Meanwhile, the Knicks’ season officially came to a close at the hands of LeBron James and the Miami Heat.
Up I-95 from South Beach, the Rangers were powerless to stop the Capitals in Washington. They now have to play a winner-take-all game Saturday at Madison Square Garden.
Ugh.
But hey, there’s a small consolation — the Mets swept Philadelphia!
