Wakes To Be Held For Two SUNY Farmingdale Students Killed In Pennsylvania Plane Crash
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Two aviation students from Long Island killed in a plane crash last week will be remember on Monday.
Wakes will be held for 34-year-old pilot Patrick Sheridan, of Long Beach, and 19-year-old Casey Falconer, of Garden City Parl.
The Farmingdale State students were killed in a small plane crash in Pennsylvania on Wednesday after taking off from an airport in Sterling Township.
The lone survivor of the crash, 21-year-old Evan Kisseloff, of Oceanside, said the plane stalled and caught fire. There are also reports the plane hit a tree, but the National Transportation Safety Board said it's not clear at what point that happened.
The NTSB is expected to release a preliminary report sometime this week.
