B&C Morning Show: Rangers Strike First, Win Game 1

It was all about the Rangers Tuesday morning after they shut out the Devils 3-0 last night at the Garden, thus taking a 1-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference finals.

Even after the impressive win, Boomer is still preaching his 'one shift, one goal, one game' credo - which has worked out pretty well so far, as the Blueshirts are now just seven wins away from hoisting the Cup. Just don't tell the Blonde Bomber.

Craig has caught a little case of Rangers fever himself, displaying an eagerness to talk hockey that we've never seen before.  Even after the game was still scoreless after the first two periods, Craig talked about how exciting the action was, then boldly declared that Henrik Lundqvist was the best player on the ice last night. The Rangers goaltender recorded 21 saves, while his teammates blocked 26 shots of their own.

So it was a whole lotta hockey, combined with a 'text' message from Mark Teixeira as the Yanks won 8-5, a show of faith courtesy of Terry Collins in the Mets' 3-1 victory and Craig feels obligated to toot his own horn regarding his unparalleled coverage of the world of Mixed Martial Arts on MMA Uncensored (which airs LIVE Thursday nights @ 10:00 pm on Spike TV)...
