Jets Reportedly Sign 7th-Round Pick Antonio Allen To 4-Year Deal

NEW YORK (WFAN) - The New York Jets have signed seventh-round draft pick Antonio Allen, according to The New York Post.

Allen, a strong safety out of the University of South Carolina, inked a four-year deal that includes a $45,896 signing bonus, the paper reported.

The six-foot-two, 202-pounder starred for the Gamecocks from 2008-2011, recording 198 tackles, 3.5 sacks, four interceptions and two touchdowns over his college career. He played linebacker in his freshman and sophomore seasons before moving to safety.

Gang Green has now signed five of their eight draft picks, but the prize of the class -- first-round selection Quinton Coples -- remains unsigned.
