Ask Asa: Metric Labels
NEW YORK(CBS2) -- Most people might be hesitant to buy or consume a bottle of soda with 'eleven teaspoons' of sugar in it, but would have no problem with a bottle labeled '46 grams' of sugar.
Confusing measurements like that are part of the reason the consumer advocates have called for an overhaul of the food labeling system.
CBS 2's Asa Aarons looks at some of the changes that advocates have proposed in this edition of Ask Asa.
