64-Year-Old Woman Killed After Car Crashes Into McDonald's In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 64-year-old woman is dead after a car crashed through the front window of a McDonald's in Brooklyn.

The accident happened just before 1 p.m. near the intersection of Flathbush Avenue and 48th Street, emergency officials said.

The driver, a 75-year-old woman, was trying to parallel park and lost control of the vehicle, officials said.

The car then smashed through the window, hitting the woman inside the restaurant.

The woman was taken to Brooklyn Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Two other people were treated for minor injuries.

The driver, who was not hurt, is not charged.
