NEW YORK (WFAN) – If Wednesday night’s Stanley Cup opener was played on the gridiron, everything for 60 minutes would have been from the 20-yard line to the 20-yard line.

Both teams suffocated each other with the forecheck. You saw the saves to die for from Martin Brodeur and Jonathan Quick.

We had one goal for the LA Kings, one goal for New Jersey after regulation.

But the missed opportunities from the Devils!
