Keith Hernandez was scheduled to call-in this morning shortly after 8 a.m., but when the time arrived, the Gold Glove 1st baseman was nowhere to be found.
Turns out, Hernandez overslept after a rough night of traveling home from Washington after the Mets won a day game yesterday afternoon, 3-1 over the Nationals. Upon waking-up, Hernandez immediately picked-up the phone and called in to talk about those ‘Amazin’ Mets, as they prepare to take on the Yankees in the first installment in the 2012 Subway Series…
